DUPAGE WATER COMMISSION CONTRACT FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF CONTRACT MS 22/25

1. Invitation to Bid
Owner invites sealed Bidder's Proposals for the Work described in detail in the Contract and generally described as follows: Construction of MS 22/25 â" Seven (7) meter stations and one (1) chemical feed building located in City of Naperville, United City of Yorkville, Village of Montgomery, Village of Oswego, Oswego Township, Bristol Township, Kendall Township, Wheatland Township, Kendall County, and Will County. Work generally includes, but is not limited to, 16-, 20, and 24-inch diameter water main construction (open-cut), connections to adjacent contracts, meter station building construction (structural, architectural, piping, electrical, and controls), removal, relocation, and replacement of existing underground utilities, roadway reconstruction and paving, traffic control, landscape restoration, storm water pollution control and erosion control, and testing. The Work shall be performed at properties owned by Village of Montgomery, Village of Oswego, United City of Yorkville, and DuPage Water Commission.
2. Additional Information
Electronic copies of the Bidding Documents and the Contract may be examined through the Owner website at www.dpwc.org/bids. There is no fee for accessing these documents, however, a Non-Disclosure and Confidentiality Agreement (NDA) will need to be filled out and submitted for review. A pre-bid conference of all prospective Bidders shall be held at the Offices of the Engineer on Tuesday, May 19, 2026, at 1:00 pm, local time. At least one person employed by each Bidder must attend the pre-bid conference, in addition to any other representatives a prospective Bidder may choose to invite.
THE PROPOSAL OF ANY FIRM OR JOINT VENTURE THAT FAILS TO HAVE AT LEAST ONE EMPLOYEE ATTEND THE PRE-BID CONFERENCE, EITHER IN PERSON OR VIRTUALLY, SHALL BE REJECTED.
3. Bid Opening
Owner will receive sealed Bidder's Proposals for the Work until 10 o'clock, a.m., local time, June 5, 2026, at Owner's office listed above, at which time, or as soon thereafter as possible, all Bidder's Proposals will be publicly opened and read aloud.
