LEGAL NOTICE IN THE CIRCUIT COURT OF THE NINETEENTH JUDICIAL CIRCUIT, LAKE COUNTY, ILLINOIS, COUNTY OF LAKE, a body politic and corporate of Illinois, Plaintiff, vs. TIFFANY N. STEELE; MORTGAGE ELECTRONIC REGISTRATION SYSTEMS, INC., as Nominee for First Centennial Mortgage Corporation; and UNKNOWN OWNERS and NONRECORD CLAIMANTS, Defendants, General No. 2026 ED 00000001, filed: January 5, 2026.
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN TO UNKNOWN OWNERS and NONRECORD CLAIMANTS, that an action is now pending in the court as shown above to fix the compensation for certain property located in Lake County, Illinois, for the improvement of Butterfield Road (County Hwy 57) from Gregg’s Parkway to Golf Road, and as more particularly described in the Complaint for Condemnation above referred to and now on file in the Office of the Clerk of the Circuit Court of Lake County. The entire legal description of said property is as follows:

That part of Lot 53 in Regency Estates Unit 2, being a subdivision of part of the Southeast Quarter of Section 20, Township 44 North, Range 11 East of the Third Principal Meridian, according to the plat thereof recorded December 15, 1971 as document number 1537188 in Book 48 of Plats, page 63, in Lake County, Illinois, bearings and distances are based on the Illinois Coordinate System, NAD 83 (2011) East Zone, with a combination factor of 0.9999557592, described as follows:
Beginning at the southwest corner of said Lot 53; thence on an Illinois Coordinate System NAD 83 (2011) East Zone bearing of North 0 degrees 00 minutes 02 seconds East along the west line of said Lot 53, a distance of 100.09 feet (100.01 feet, recorded) to a point of curvature on said west line; thence northeasterly 16.09 feet along the northwesterly line of said Lot 53 on a curve to the right having a radius of 25.00 feet, the chord of said curve bears North 18 degrees 26 minutes 10 seconds East, 15.81 feet to a point 5.00 feet normally distant East of the west line of Lot 53; thence South 0 degrees 00 minutes 02 seconds West along a line 5.00 feet normally distant East of and parallel with the west line of said Lot 53, a distance of 115.09 feet to the south line of Lot 53; thence South 89 degrees 58 minutes 19 seconds West along the south line of said Lot 53, a distance of 5.00 feet to the point of beginning.
Said parcel containing 0.013 acre, more or less.

Said temporary easement containing 0.014 acre, more or less.
YOU ARE FURTHER NOTIFIED to file your appearance on or before March 16, 2026, and if you fail to do so or do not otherwise make your appearance on or before said time, this cause may be tried, just compensation determined, and judgment entered as prayed for in said Complaint without further notice.
