VILLAGE OF BUFFALO GROVE REQUEST FOR BIDS BUFFALO CREEK RESTORATION IMPROVEMENTS The Village of Buffalo Grove is requesting bids from qualified firms and/or individuals for the regrading, stabilization, and restoration of Buffalo Creek in the Village of Buffalo Grove. The work includes implementation of best management practices (BMP's) to reduce non-point source pollution along both sides of Buffalo Creek (IL_GST) in Lake County, Illinois. Approximately 3,500 linear feet of eroding streambank will be stabilized utilizing: 1) slope regrading; 2) three J-hook riffle structures; 3) one cross vane; 4) stone toe protection and vegetated geogrids; and 5) a twenty (20) foot wide native vegetation buffer along with erosion control matting adjacent to the stream that will total 1.5 acres.
