NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING Charles Melazzo, owner of Common Good Bar DOM LLC, and tenant of 560 Crescent Boulevard, is requesting a public hearing for a variation in accordance with Section 10-10-12 of the Glen Ellyn Zoning Code. The subject property is located at the northeast corner of Crescent Boulevard and Forest Avenue, commonly known as 560 Crescent Boulevard, in the C5B Central Business District Service District, and is legally described as follows: OF LOT 6 IN COUNTY CLERK'S SECOND ASSESSMENT DIVISION, IN THE SOUTHWEST QUARTER OF SECTION 11, TOWNSHIP 39 NORTH, RANGE 10 EAST OF THE THIRD PRINCIPAL MERIDIAN, ACCORDING TO THE PLAT THEREOF RECORDED JULY 3, 1906 AS DOCUMENT 88052, IN DUPAGE COUNTY, ILLINOIS. P.I.N. 05-11-318-007 Before the Glen Ellyn Village Board can consider the request for a variation to the Zoning Code, the Plan Commission must conduct a public hearing. The Plan Commission will conduct a public hearing on Thursday, June 28, 2018, at 7:00 p.m. in the Galligan Board Room on the third floor of the Glen Ellyn Civic Center, 535 Duane Street, Glen Ellyn, Illinois. The Plan Commission will consider the following Variation to the Zoning Code: Section 10-4-17-2(G)19 - to allow the operation of a sit down bar/restaurant with up to 42 indoor seats with 0 public parking spaces provided on site, in lieu of the 11 parking spaces required. All persons who are interested are invited to attend the public hearing to listen and be heard. Information related to the request, including the plans for the proposed project are available for public review at any time before or after the meeting between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. in the Planning and Development Department of the Civic Center, 535 Duane Street, Glen Ellyn, Illinois.
